As a 'thank you' I like to spend money in town, so decided to have dinner at the Cutter's Cafe, which happened to be open being a Friday night. I chose their signature dish of chicken stuffed with Camembert cheese and pesto, served on a bed of mashed sweet potato, with a dollop of pureed beetroot on top, and fresh salad of julienne vegetables and green salad leaves. I enjoyed the colourful presentation, and found it to be a tasty substantial healthy meal. The staff seemed both proud of their signature dish and eager to be helpful.
Coffee and service is awesome!!!! Go and support local business!! Food is amazing too!! Milkshakes for kids too!!!
Great food at great prices. Cold beer, aircon or outside dinning. Raffles draw at 2pm Sundays. Fantastic place.
Husband and I had $11 lunch. We chose roast pork and staff suggested bacon and chilli pasta. Both meals were delicious. Nice relaxing surroundings. Would recommend a visit if in Home Hill. Thanks for great service.
It was a quiet Saturday afternoon in Homehill, most of the town was at the sporting fields watching the cane cutting competitions when we happened upon Cutters Cafe in the Malpass Hotel. As a previous reviewer has said - "what a find".I ordered the prawn cutlets which were freshly cooked with a light tempura batter & served with a deliciously dressed salad. My other half opted for the "Cutters Burger" which was huge & said to be delicious. The lady who served us was very friendly & very attentive. The walls of the cafe are adorned with interesting old photos depicting the methods of cane cutting in years gone by. If passing through Homehill around lunch time, Cutters Cafe is well worth stopping for.
