El Ranchito - Holton

I've been there twice this week, and both times the service was unfriendly and the food was served cold. It's really disappointing because I love Mexican food.

NO BUENO!! WENT WITH THREE OTHER ADULTS AND TWO BABIES. BOTH 7 MONTHS. ONE WAS SLEEP) WAITED 20 MINUTES AT THE DOOR TO BE SEATED. SAT. GOT DRINKS N CHIPS. WAITED ANOTHER 20 NO ORDERS TAKEN THEIR STAFF SHOWS UP TO THE TABLE NEXT TO US AND SANG SUM WILD BIRTHDAY SONG! HAD SOME TYPE OF NOISE MAKING LOG! IT WAS SUPER LOUD! THEY SHOULD HAVE SAT US AWAY FROM THAT TABLE! WE LEFT! THE CHIPS AND SALSA WERE GOOD. BABIES WERE NOT HAPPY!!!

As I quickly glanced through their menu, I suspected we were in for some tasty dishes, but I wasn't ready for just how exceptional the food turned out to be! Although I may not have many opportunities to visit Holton, I definitely plan to return.

Must try kind of place. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. They treat you like family. Food always spot on. Small town business with a big heart.

Went to this place for the first time and I LOVED it! The flavors were AMAZING, atmosphere was great, and even the staff had great attitudes! It's a bit small size wise so I don't recommend going with a group of more than 10 but its soooo worth it!!!Kid-friendliness: They had THE CUTEST hand painted Minnie mouse high chair!!!
