The Anchor Inn - Holmes Beach

I can't find enough good words to describe Joey. Delightful, friendly, hard work, courtesy, the list goes on. He remembers us every year and is always so inviting the second we walk through the door. The Anchor Inn is our first stop every year we visit the island and we always hope Joey is on the staff! If you are looking for a good time, SKIP Decoy Ducks. While the Decoy Ducks staff is unimaginable for us every year, the Anchor Inn staff always leaves us with the same wonderful experience. Love this bar!

We stopped Monday and it was closed. Written on the door closed Monday and Tuesday. We try again. Recommended by a local as the best little bar and its favourite. Thanks for the answer. We will check the anchor next time on the island. I look forward to it!

I just wish I had smoked and a pack of Marlboro reds. Reliable with Geatmenschen. So glad we stopped. I feel like it's an America's first place.

Good dive bar is right. Pack-a-day crowd. A little smoky but nice folks around the bar. Very local

Amazing dive bar! Must go to while on the island. Great attentive bartender, knows you by name from the beginning. Great shots, and cold drinks.
