A new store and already has lost our entire family as customers. When management decides to allow its employees to make their legacy smoothies like tropi-colada, we will return and order the smoothies and food. Until then, no point to come here. Employees are also extremely rude. I would fire them all asap!
I went in and ordered a Santa Fe Wrap and Chia Banana Boost smoothie. I made it very clear to the lady working there that I have a peanut allergy and that I wanted strawberries instead of peanut butter in the smoothie. When I got home and began eating the quesadilla and drinking the smoothie, I suddenly got a horrible allergic reaction (so they either put peanut butter in the smoothie or used a blender that had been used to make a peanut butter smoothie and never washed it). Thanks for ruining my Saturday. I?ll never come back here again.
I am extremely disappointed with this establishment and its staff. I placed an online order, but when it arrived, my smoothie was missing. When I called the restaurant, I was informed that they didn’t have the flavor I had ordered. You would think someone there would have the common sense to call me and let me know, asking what alternative I would prefer. Instead, the person who answered the call told me, "Oh, we don’t know when we run out." What? Are you serious? I left my contact information for the manager to reach out to me, but I'm still waiting for that call. The service is lacking, and it seems like the young staff just doesn't care. It reflects a complete lack of professionalism.
Disappointing first experience... I usually enjoy other Tropical Café locations, but this one did not meet expectations, and we didn’t even end up placing an order. We visited on a Sunday, and their website stated they closed at 8 PM. We arrived around 7:25 PM and noticed the open sign was off, but there were customers inside, so we decided to go in. As we were browsing the menu to choose our sandwiches, the cashier appeared to be managing other tasks without any issues. However, when the clock struck 7:30 PM and we were ready to order, she informed us that the kitchen had closed. We had been looking at the menu for about five minutes, so we were surprised to hear that we could only order smoothies. Closing the kitchen half an hour before the stated closing time seems premature, especially when a significant portion of your menu features food. As a new location, it’s crucial to make a good first impression on local customers. I wonder if the owner is aware of this early kitchen closure. Ultimately, we left because we were hoping for a meal to go with our smoothies, which was disappointing. I may consider trying again in the future if this location improves its operations. Such a shame. I hope the franchise owner sees this feedback.
I recently discovered a new restaurant near my workplace, and it’s quite an interesting spot. The atmosphere is very clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the menu is absolutely fantastic. There’s a wide variety of drinks and sandwiches to choose from. I do wish there were more side options and that the portions were a bit larger, but overall, it was a pleasant experience!
