Sugar Reef - Hollywood

What a delightful experience! The food is incredibly fresh and skillfully prepared and served. I highly recommend it, and the people-watching from your table under the umbrella is fantastic. Treat yourself to a bottle of wine and enjoy a leisurely afternoon lunch.

First, the atmosphere: the restaurant is located right on the Hollywood boardwalk, offering stunning views of the beach and ocean. It’s truly beautiful. Next, the staff: they make you feel as though you've entered a five-star dining establishment. The service is friendly and incredibly attentive. And then there's the food: we tried the Moroccan soup, which was wonderful with just the right amount of spices. The fish sandwich came with pan-fried potatoes instead of fries, perfectly seasoned, and the fish was cooked just to our liking. The salmon salad with mango salsa was an absolute delight. I can't even begin to describe the countless times I've been served charred or overcooked salmon elsewhere, but not at Sugar Reef—the fish melted in my mouth. For dessert, we had the key lime pie topped with a tart raspberry sauce. It even met my husband's high standards for key lime pie! We definitely plan to return and will be bringing our friends along. What a fantastic place!

It was the best meal I enjoyed all week in the area. The fresh fish was cooked to perfection, accompanied by just a hint of sauce, all while sitting right on the beach.

The title says it all. We found this fabulous restaurant on Hollywood Beach. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. By far the best wine list and the Jamaican pork dish is to die for. Can't wait to come back next year!

I have a sweet tooth and I am writing as much as anything else about the excellent desserts I had at Sugar Reef. You wouldn't think such a great restaurant could be located in a strip mall, but it is! I would definitely recommend going here.
