Blue Wave Argentinian Cuisine

Let’s rewind to July 2019: when we first visited, we ordered the sausage sandwich, but the bread was stale and seemed like it needed a good roasting. Honestly, I couldn't eat mine then. The fries were tasty, but the empanadas were downright disappointing—perhaps the worst I’ve ever had. We also tried the chopped steak, but it had a pasty texture, reminiscent of liver. Definitely not what you’d expect from a steak. Our server kindly offered to replace it with ground beef, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor as well. The menu touted meat and cheese, but it turned out to be just bland ground beef wrapped in dough. On the bright side, the beer and bar selection was the best aspect of the place. But if you're at Hollywood Beach, there are better dining options available. Nevertheless, we’re glad we gave it another chance—the view is lovely, and it seems they’re on the right track now!

#eatoutside serves an incredible cut beef empanada, prepared the Argentine way, for just $3.50. You won't just get one, either! The restaurant offers authentic Argentine cuisine along the promenade, boasting a spacious atmosphere and beautiful sea views. The drinks menu features a nice selection at the bar, with all drinks being mixed quite strong. There are also a few TVs available for game viewing.

I really appreciate when oceanfront restaurants prioritize sustainability. They use straws made from agave, which is great! The food is also delicious, and the margaritas are fantastic as well.

Blue wave is a bit expensive, but the Happy Hour Special is good. The service is great and the food is delicious!

Omg! BEST asado in the beach! Delicious. We ate the parrillada for 2 person. It came with plantains and rice with black beans but you can choose fries or salad. Maxi was our server he was excellent really good. I loved this place!
