Hickory Tavern - Holly Springs

The biscuits and gravy was peppery and good. The grilled shrimp in the Asian power bowl were spicy and delicious. We will try them again

The Smokehouse burger was excellent—perfect taste, temperature, and portion of house-made chips. The DoorDash delivery was also timely.

The wings and pretzels were fantastic, but the fish and chips were quite disappointing. For $18, there was barely any fish; it was mainly small, crispy, flat breaded bits.

The Tavern Cheeseburger was incredibly delicious! The Gouda Macaroni and Cheese was also quite tasty. The croissants were a bit small, but still enjoyable!

We dined as a group of ten on a bustling Friday night and our wait time of 30 minutes was quite reasonable. Our server, listed as Olivia S. on our receipt, handled the busy atmosphere remarkably well. We ordered a range of dishes, including salads, tacos, chicken fingers, and shrimp and grits, all of which were delicious. The portion sizes were just right, making it excellent value for the money spent. As locals, we definitely plan to return!
