We have a very nice experience and food! The place is clean, friendly, cozy and food is good:we had chicken with sweet sauce croquettes; deer and soup. Big portions, fresh and tasty! It’s not a tourist trap as it said in previous reviews at least because the food is real, not frozen from supermarkets! Thank you so much for an amazing hospitality and food! We will be back here for sure!

Not sure why the super negative reviews! Maybe on crowded days the service is slow. We were here on a cloudy Monday and were very happy with the food. Traditional, super tasty Hungarian dishes. The prices are not cheap, but the same you'd get in Budapest. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was worth the wait! (BTW they have grilled cheese as a vegetarian option)

It is listed on the Google map under several names, so I will copy my previously written opinion here: The shame of Hollókő, our only negative experience during the three days. Very expensive, low-quality food, with a peasant waiter. Unfortunately, I can't describe someone who smokes and vapes a few meters away from the tables, and as a result of this, they appear smelly, repulsive and primitive. Of course, the latter may be part of his personality in general. It is also a disaster in terms of hygiene, the tables are not wiped, there are leftovers, the tablecloths are stuck and I could go on and on. It wasn't likeable at first, but unfortunately there is only one option other than this restaurant, and it was closed at the time (but we reopened it later, heaven and earth compared to this place).

Absolutely sassy service; the servers speak loudly to the guests. Far from recommended location....!!!!! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
