Casa De Sweets - Hollister

My friends and I visited this place to try their ice cream, but we were disappointed to find that they only offered scoops and not milkshakes. That was okay, though. When we requested to sample the flavors, the girl at the counter refused, which struck me as unusual since every other ice cream shop I’ve been to has happily allowed samples. As for the ice cream itself, it was rather average for the price—perhaps that's why they were reluctant to let us try it first.

The ice cream was quite disappointing. It melted immediately and had an unpleasant taste. Given the price, I would say it was not worth it overall.

This charming little dessert shop is a great place to stop by! The ice cream is priced at around $4.50 for one scoop, with an extra scoop costing $2. I might just be out of touch, but that seems a bit steep to me! They also didn't have every flavor available. The coffee was pretty standard—not particularly high-quality. On the positive side, the staff were polite and very helpful! The pre-packaged sweets were really tasty, although still a bit on the pricey side. The shop had a fantastic selection of unique items; everything felt fresh and interesting, nothing generic at all! We also enjoyed a train ride, which my little ones loved. They took part in a little mining activity that they were thrilled to do on their own. Overall, I think we’d definitely return to spend a few hours here, especially now that we know what to expect!

Enormous ice cream portions! I asked for two scoops and was watching how they put about 3-4 spoons to form mega scoop for me. And then they did it again. If I ever get fat, this place is to blame

A more detailed fruit stand that you typically see along the road in Hollister going to wastonville. Prices are more than average that you'd see at one of the smaller stands. I was disappointed that the ice cream bar was closed and didn't have any signs with times but I saw plenty of other people eating ice cream outside from the location. It's good for the experience every once and a while but too much too visit often.
