Its flavors were vibrant and harmonious, making it a standout dish that felt like a culinary masterpiece. However, there was a slight hiccup during our visit. Our server was enthusiastic but a bit too eager, bringing the bill before we finished our meal. While their repeated check-ins were well-meaning, they created a sense of urgency that clashed with the otherwise relaxed vibe of the restaurant. Despite these minor issues, our experience at Tosha Ramen was filled with delightful flavors and warmth. The space may be compact, but the creativity in each dish was impressive. The combination of textures and tastes, along with the joy of sharing a meal, made the visit memorable and worth savoring.
This ramen restaurant is one of the best spots for enjoying ramen. As with most ramen places, the portions are quite generous. The location is excellent, making it easy to visit. They offer a wide variety of options, and the ramen is packed with flavor. Food: 5/5
Next, we ordered shrimp tempura, but what we received were some of the worst, heavily breaded, tiny shrimp that seemed like they came out of a box. They were honestly inedible, and we ended up not eating them at all. We suspect we were served fried shrimp instead of the tempura we ordered, as it did not resemble shrimp tempura. Once again, it was accompanied by that same unpleasant mayonnaise-like sauce, which looked like mayo with a hint of ketchup. My husband tried the spicy pork ramen, while I ordered the curry ramen. The broth was decent, but both dishes contained deeply fried, heavily breaded pork and a few bok choy leaves that were also deep-fried. My husband ended up not finishing his ramen because he really disliked it. While the restaurant seems to be quite popular, it just wasn't for us.
The food here is absolutely amazing—it's both comforting and fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. This is definitely my favorite ramen shop. Food: 5/5
**Vegetarian options:** There is a vegetarian menu available, and the broth does not contain meat. The noodles are made from vegan yam, though they can be switched out upon request. **Kid-friendliness:** The restaurant has a kid-friendly menu. **Parking:** We visited the Holladay location and had no issues finding parking; there was plenty available.
