Forsinket - Holbaek

I have been here twice, once for drinks and snacks, and the second time for dinner. The place is super cosy with a lot of atmosphere and certainly makes the ground shake when the train passes by. Food was good, I had a tasty burger and a fresh rhubarb drink. Staff is very friendly. Definitively a place to stop to have something to eat.

Relaxed good atmosphere, eye contact almost at once and service also almost at once. You certainly feel welcome. The things I did eat and drink there I apreciated. You feel at home there.... I can recomend the place . It is cosy. I was surprised to observe some stuffed deer with human hands and nailpolish. The style is oldfashion mixed with black humour and cosy comfort.. in the middle of Jyderup and next to the station. You will never forget you went to Jyderup indeed ! ; The chef is extremely service minded and the girls always smiling and at your service.

Just by the train station of the small town of Jyderup in West Sealand DK you can have a lovely coffee, tea, hot chocolate, with freshly baked pain au raisin or a cold or warm meal. The cafe is housed in the old station building, completely renovated in a cosy modern and quirky rustic style even with a room for a larger party. The staff is very friendly and helpful and with soft jazz in the background, definitely worth a visit. We will be back!

In the renovated old Jyderup station building. Spacious inside, terrace for smokers by the road convenient for travellers and the shops across the road. Coffee, food and alcohol. Don’t pass by. Get off the train or drop in after shopping and enjoy the atmosphere and the interesting decor.

If you wanted to eat out in Jyderup, there wasn't much of a choice. Average pizza, a few coffee+ shop attempts but finally we have a local that we may hope is here to stay. As a regular visitor this region is a desert so Forsinket is looking to fill the gap. I dined with a friend this evening and from the short menu we had two dishes which more than satisfied supper. The meal was well cooked, honest dishes that hit the spot, in surroundings that scream local hang-out. And not expensive. The wine list was incredibly short (one of red, white, rosé, sparkling) but the red we had was fine for 199kr. I Really hope it will be successful and that the wine list will improve. I look forward to being DELAYED again in the future.
