Lewis Clarke's - Hohenwald

My family and I recently moved to Hohenwald. We tried most of the restaurants here in town. We went to the celebrity tonight and decided to go here. Lewis Clark didn't disappoint. This is probably my personal favorite we still have! From service to food everything was top notch. I must say the fresh bread they serve is amazing!!! We talked to the owner after our dinner to let him know what a wonderful experience we had. He was so humble and worthy. What a jewel he created here in our little town!

I play piano and sing in the dinning hall a few nights a week. the owners are awesome, food and staff are amazing, and I enjoy players here! Had many battles with the sound due to the block walls, hardwood floors and the tin ceiling.. What? Tin blanket?? ..a sound engineer nightmare!! The sound through the PA jumps around and echoes so bad in the room, and apparently it sounds perfect in some places, but in others, it's like a loud, booming cannon. I apologise to those who experienced the latter, and hopefully I found a solution to this problem last night. I've met so many sweet people here! Thank you for your goodness!

We were there several times and try something else each time. You get a lot of food for the price you pay. We had my granddaughter's birthday dinner there and we're gonna have my birthday dinner there this weekend. The service is excellent every time we leave. I recommend this place to all who come into my business and look for a great place to eat or dinner.

We went for lunch for the first time today, there was a little time to settle into the city and get some kinks worked out. We thought we'd try it because we're tired of the same fast food in our little town. We were definitely not disappointed. I ordered the soup of the week that Broccoli Cheddar was and it was fantastic. For the main dish I got the chopped steak with peppers, onions and mushrooms, with a side salad and green beans. Also 5 stars. The taste was all there and it was very well portioned. My husband has the Lewis Burger and Pommes. He said it was great. Perfectly boiled and the mushrooms that it was astonishing (I'm looking for a taste. My 2 years old also enjoyed their chicken strips and pumices. It took about 25 minutes from the time we had ordered until everything was on the table. That's pretty fair for a restaurant. All in all, it was a great experience. Wonderful waitress. Amazing food. Quiet atmosphere. Fair prices. Plenty of space for small groups and for large groups. I would recommend HIGHLY this place to anyone who wants something new in town or someone who breaks out of town. You have something for everyone and a menu that is hard to choose just one thing. I think giving a few weeks was a good idea.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere!! I only had a salad but it was great. I love the piano i have never felt so comfortable and relaxed. Definitely be back.
