If you want to enjoy the good Franconian cuisine, don't miss the Grüne Linde in Hof-Wölbattendorf. Perfectly trained and very attentive service staff led by an honest and grounded host is the core competence of this gastro company with a connected hotel. I was present at a birthday party on 9.1.2016. The host had chosen the buffet form. After a first winter salad (balanced, perfectly matched dressing) a buffet was built on the side of the fast service without neglecting the service (drinks, cleaning) at the table. The guests were present at the birthday party between 15 and 80 years. It was not easy to bring the food offer to everyone something good at the buffet, but it was excellently solved. There were among others: Rehragout with Jus, Semmelknödeln und Preiselbeer Schweinlende with Hofer Klößen, Bier-Soße and Kraut Schnitzel Wiener Kunst with Pommes Frites and as dessert: cheese plate and fruit Mousse au Chocolat A selection of wines was made on the buffet, which was balanced and professionally consistent with the food offered. In this case, however, the farm could get even more into the Franconian homeland, but this is only a small edge mark, because the selected wines underlined the donation. All in all a wonderful gastronomic performance tonight. Since I have visited Christmas celebrations more often in the farm (large, beautiful hall on the 1st floor), my positive impression was confirmed again. At the end of January, a group of travellers near Aschaffenburg will stay there for two days and I am completely convinced that I gave the organizer the right advice with the Green Linde!
