Strandgut Hoexter - Höxter

A really nice and quiet place, near the ingenious lake and a ghost-running view, has wi fi, parking. Service is on a large level, nice and friendly staff, great variety in the menu, and I recommend you try the hamburger! Visit them!

Recently I met the restaurant -Cafe ́ Strandgut at the leisure complex Höxter Godelheim at a company party. At the outskirts of Höxter, in the direction of Godelheim right behind the train to the left, in a way leading to the ponds, there is this great location. Here you can book events, family celebrations or enjoy the beautiful ambience with a delicious cappuccino or a good meal. During the day, the local feeling of holiday, the view of the lake of Godelheim and the beach resort, the landscaped Reed and the atmosphere of the whole house, lovingly designed everything, the guest here for a few hours to leave the soul. On the day of our factory there was a buffet . Filet Steaks, rosemary spices, chicken breast fillet, vegetable grenades and finest salads. Everything very tasty, refined and tasty dressed and served. Also dessert a pleasure. The cocktails were particularly delicious, whether with or without alcohol. Eat here and drink the eye. The menu can be accessed on the Internet. It is advantageous to make room reservations in summer, the place is well visited and is not open daily.

Wir waren mittlerweile schon sehr oft hier, entweder zu zweit oder mit Freunden und auch Kollegen. Wir sind also seit Jahren treue Gäste ;-) Die Location und das Ambiente sind einfach wunderschön. Insbesondere wenn das Wetter gut ist und man draußen sitzen kann – mit Blick auf den See – kommt schnell Urlaubsfeeling auf :-)Die Cocktails sind ok. Das Essen und die Getränke sind mal besser und mal schlechter, das haben wir schon sehr unterschiedlich erlebt. Laut Karte gab es z. B. frisch zubereitete/hausgemachte bzw. gepresste Säfte. Letztendlich waren es aber einfach normale Fruchtsäfte, die verwendet wurden. Ich habe die Bedienung auch darauf angesprochen, die mir bestätigte, dass es sich um normale Säfte handelte. Das darf natürlich nicht sein, wenn es anders in der Karte steht und auch entsprechend mehr kostet.Beim Essen wähle ich gern einen Flammkuchen und mein Mann den Burger. Meistens schmeckt es uns gut, aber hin und wieder kommt es vor, dass z. B. der Boden des Flammkuchens stark verbrannt war, sodass ich diesen nicht essen konnte, weil er auch sehr bitter schmeckte und ich dann um einen neuen gebeten habe.Wenn der Service und das Essen noch ein wenig optimiert werden, gebe ich gerne 4 oder sogar 5 Sterne, da wir es hier einfach klasse finden.

Beautiful place to sit and have drink and to relax the mind. Best time on a sunny day and to sit at the outside area. Even have a camping area near by for people to pass by, as well a lot of activities you can do in this area.
