Truly Roasted - Hockley

Had an excellent roast beef Sunday dinner here with everything cooked to perfection. Lashings of gravy which is unusual when you go out to lunch. Delicious bread and butter pudding for dessert with again, lashings of thick custard. Empty plates and bowls all round

Recently had a party here and was very impressed with the service. Everyone was so helpful. The manager Mel couldn’t do enough for us. Would happily recommend this pub to my friends for their parties. A great night had by all.

Really excellent food! Had the takeaway roast, thoroughly enjoyed! Massive portions, so tasty! I had chicken, friends had lamb. Top quality meal. Friendly polite efficient service. Can't recommend enough and will re visit!!! Geoff. Update had another meal there today lovely haloumi burger, and chicken with Stilton and leek sauce and new potatoes. Delicious!

Called in for a light lunch. Quality of food very good. Staff friendly and efficient. Indoors of pub clean and welcoming. Out grounds well set up good for dogs. Would recommend and will be back.
