Zum Kleintierzuchter - Hockenheim

Many thanks to a carin and josef for the delicious salads and a great zanderfilet, there were no wish open.

On our bike tour through hardtwald, after four mistests we found on the holidays (locally closed today, cuisine is just lunch break) friendly welcome in the restaurant “Zum Kleintierzüchter” in hockenheim. we felt very welcome and were quickly served. our ordered food: carved with pommes and salat - spay with carving, béchamel sauce and cartoffels - straßburger wurstsalat- baked camembert with berries and toast – we were served fresh after a reasonable time and it tasted us all very delicious! “Karin, at our next tour through the hardtwald we will definitely come back!”

Through some luck we have once again discovered a real secret tip thanks to tripadvisor .without reservation we could get a table on a Saturday night. the restaurant was well visited, but fortunately still had a small cozy table free.We were warmly welcomed by the service and promptly supplied with drinks. As has already been described several times, we could already check out the large carvings at the neighboring table. This has already helped us in the selection of the food, and we only had to limit ourselves to the selection of the supplements.After approx. 20 minutes we came to the delights of the huge side-salat. which could only be depopt by the excessively large carving. as to expect all was hot and the pommes french fried . the gypsy and champions rugs were prepared with fresh ingredients. all very tasty .what we had wondered was that the restaurant is not further up in ranking, this is probably more because the owner does not have the new media and therefore has no direct influence on the reviews.

Huge carvings for small price. especially recommended as a walking place or a bike tour.
