They consistently mess up espresso drinks, and even the basic brewed coffee isn’t great. The wait times are always long, even when I order ahead through the app. On my most recent visit, they added a sweetener to a drink that I specifically requested without one. When I returned it, they remade the drink but said nothing—just gave me blank stares.
Xavier is a remarkable manager who creates a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. I frequently visit this location to work, and it remains my top choice for being productive. The service is exceptional, and there are plenty of seating options available. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
The location is wonderful, and I was able to get some work done while there. However, as a former partner, I have some suggestions: this location could greatly benefit from training focused on product knowledge and drink preparation, in addition to customer service training. I bought a 'Been There' series mug, and the barista seemed a bit unsure about how to take it out of the box. After some difficulty, he finally managed to get it out, but wasn't able to put it back correctly. It was honestly quite amusing! The gentleman who took my drink order also didn’t repeat it back correctly. I ordered a grande vanilla oat milk latte, and he just looked at me and said, “So, a 16 oz latte with vanilla?” This kind of error wouldn’t be acceptable in Seattle! I apologize for being a bit critical, but I’m a huge fan of Starbucks and really want all locations and partners to succeed.
This restaurant is incredibly slow, even when I place my online order 30 minutes in advance. They frequently forget items too. I ordered a latte and a sandwich at noon, arrived at 12:20, and had to wait until 12:40 for my sandwich to be ready. By that time, I had already finished my latte. This has happened to me three times already!
If you're considering this restaurant, I recommend you think twice and steer clear. My Saturday morning was completely spoiled as I waited 45 minutes for nothing more than a cup of cream with a splash of iced coffee. The staff were unfriendly and appeared to vent their frustrations on the customers. I would give this experience a 0 out of 5.
