For the slight premium this place has decent healthy food options. I usually order build your own bowl with seafood protein, rice, and an abundant amount of toppings. Resulting meals is pretty satisfying. Overall I think food here is fairly average and more expensive for Hoboken. However, I personally highly recommend the smoothies. Plenty of healthy, nutritious, and innovative options will satisfy people with variety of taste.

Incredibly warm space with equally as incredible food! We have been visiting both Shaka locations for years now, and will continue to for years to come! In our town places come and go, and luckily for us this business is here to stay which is a testament to how great they are. We love all of the menu, but if we had to pick 3, we’d say our favorite menu items are the pork tacos, avocado egg rolls, and chicken poke bowls. The seasonal specials are great as well. We recently had an event in their Washington Street space, and absolutely recommend their catering space to anyone looking for a special event and memorable time!

This is one of my top choices for poke bowls! The flavors are delicious and genuinely distinctive, something that many other places fail to achieve. I gave it 4 stars because the sauce has been a bit too heavy in the last few bowls I've had. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this spot to everyone!

My office is almost directly above Shaka Kitchen, so I've been a loyal customer since they opened. I've had countless poke and acai bowls, all of which I’ve loved. Their cold brew is also amazing and packs a strong punch, which I really enjoy! Keep up the excellent work, everyone—I’ll definitely be back soon!
