I've spent a lot of money in their restaurant and through Uber Eats too and I've also taken my friends along for meals at times. However, today's incident has just made me dislike this place for the lack of customer service. I'll start by saying, I've never ever ordered chicken biryani from any restaurant and had to order more chicken ever. Their chicken biryani came with 2 really small pieces of chicken. I thought I'd have lunch here as I was shopping in the city. I asked both the restaurant staff if this was normal practice and they said yes. As you can see in the pic, I've got all that rice left to eat and no chicken. 20 bucks for a bowl full of coloured rice and 2 bits of chicken is a bit ridiculous. The staff didn't even have the courtesy to address my issue. Instead I paid more money, another $18 and ordered another chicken dish. The rice had gone cold by then, nobody offered to ask if I wanted it warmed up. Really poor customer experience. I will make sure I don't return to this restaurant if they don't know how to value their regular customers. Feels like a rip off! I'm a foodie and I love eating out. I go to places that sell good food and offer good service and value for money. Danphe is off my list for now.
So i went in here coz i was craving momos. Ordered it and got served over cooked saggy momos that were all broken. Not a single momo was intact. The chef shouldve known that those momos shouldn't have been served at all. Was left very disappointed. The waitress did apologise and said will bring fresh momos but i didnt want to eat after what i got served earlier.
I am unsure if this place is vegan, but they had a lot of vegetarian and GF options. My dad and I shared a garlic naan, vegetarian Momo and one of the vegetarian dals. Absolutely yummy, only issue was we asked for hot spice and got bare minimum.
I had the chickpea and potato curry which was really good! The spices were excellent and the portion sizes were good. We didn’t have an all vegan menu but the menu was labelled as dairy free so it was fairly easy to know what was vegan and what wasn’t. There was another vegan curry to choose from and a few starters, sadly none of the bread was vegan when I went.
Good was amazing! I had the potato and chickpea curry with plain rice. Sadly there are only 2 options for mains and a couple of side options. None of the bread is vegan unfortunately. Very reasonably priced too!
