The Indian food was not only delicious but also packed with flavors and spices that exceeded our expectations. The humble surroundings did not deter from the amazing dining experience. Definitely worth a try.
This South Indian style cafe offers delicious street food and Dosas at an affordable price. The ginger tea, Puris, and cauliflower entrees are all tasty choices. We tried the veg dosa and potato dosas, both of which were very authentic. Highly recommended for a satisfying and authentic dining experience.
The four items we ordered for entree from the street food offerings, on the waitresses recommendations, were amazing. The mango lassi were "the best ever" according to 8year old. We shared three mains and were totally full and satisfied. The kids had a magnificent chocolate dosa for dessert. We will return very soon. This will be our new go to for Indian food. Looking forward to trying the lunch time special too.
First, I am a South Indian who has lived in Tamil Nadu where several of the dishes served here originate. I tried the chicken kolumbu and kothu parota which were both sooo good! The service was efficient and nice. As another user commented, the complimentary rice was a nice bonus which is rare in australia it seems. The chai was flavorful. All in all, highly recommend!
This was a first - an Indian restaurant that served curries that came with a large bowl of rice, so you didn't have to buy rice as a side dish. And for only $12.90. The curries were as hot or mild as the menu stated and beautifully flavoursome. mango lassi for just $3 each topped it off.
