Cascade Brewery - Hobart

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for drinks and dining. It has a modern atmosphere, delicious food, great drinks, and excellent service. We enjoyed some apple wine and burgers for lunch. The view overlooking the brewery across the street was picture perfect.

We originally planned to take a tour, but due to renovations, we ended up having lunch instead. It was lovely to sit in the gardens and enjoy some local sausages and mash, along with a tasting plate. The gardens are great for a leisurely stroll, and the gift shop, although small, offers good quality items. Overall, a very picturesque setting.

I am a local from Tasmania and went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch with friends. When we arrived, we were pleased to see that there was seating available in the lovely garden. We were appropriately dressed for the weather and decided to sit outside. However, we were disappointed with the service. We waited for quite some time for our meals to arrive, and when they did, they were not up to par. My Calamari salad was very small, with hardly any calamari and the salad seemed to be just basic greens from a package. All the meals seemed rushed and poorly presented, with some dishes being undercooked and others arriving at the table at different times. The chickpea salad and cauliflower parmigiana were underwhelming, and the carrot cakes were overpowering. We also had to go up to the bar to order our meals, which was disappointing. Although the staff making drinks were friendly, they seemed overwhelmed. It was a mediocre dining experience and I'm not sure if I will return. It seems like the kitchen can only produce decent meals when ordering specific items like the chicken parmigiana or pizza. Despite having many empty tables, the kitchen seemed to be struggling to keep up with the demand. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I believe the issue lies with the kitchen.

After visiting the cascades female factory we took the short walk through the beautiful cascades gardens (only beautiful) up the cascades factory and brewery bar. at sunset, this was the most beautiful sight with the mountain standing behind him. the brewery offered a lot. of great tasting possibilities and our meal times were really good. they had a great band and many beautiful areas outside for a drink. a very relaxed, beautiful experience. highly recommended.

It was mid week and we had a group of with a toddler on a beautiful autumn day so we sat outside. It was perfect for our group and the food was excellent.
