Mitchan Sohonten Hatchobori - Hiroshima

Nicely happy with the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki experience. Line was really long, but they were efficient and didn't have to wait so long.

English Menu available. This was recommended to me by my Japanese teacher, who comes from completely different prefectures. It wasn't dissapoint. Pork Kimchi was delicious as the Okonomiyaki itself. This is a lot of food, especially with Udon noodles. Price is good, certainly if you consider the quality and quantity of food. The staff was good.

Delicious food, watch the food is made is a fantastic treat! It is about 1000 ¥ for a meal and rice sides start from 100, as well as miso. The rice cake in the Micchan Special simply melts away. I wish we could eat that every night!

Excellent okonomiyaki, Hiroshima-style! A couple large tables for groups and some bar-style seating and long tables. One page of menu is in English and covers the important items though probably not everything. Great sauce and topping options. High chairs for kids. Young staff spoke some English which is always nice. Delicious.

Their okonomiyaki really hit the spot for me. Long line but I didn’t wait long at all. I had their special with extra green onions which I think they a bit overboard. As you order, you will need to specify the type of noodles you like, soba or udon.
