Ken's - Hiroshima

Ken's bar is Legit, it comes from an American. Good music, drinks here are the best price: 500 yen for rum and Redbull is unbeatable! Quickly packed: such a perfect place to meet, a perfect place to greet, and make friends from all parts of the world. Ken is a dope type, go there and look, A, GREAT TIME!

Fun bar with very nice staff. Bar seats were super comfortable. Smoking is allowed, so watch out if you are not used to that atmosphere. Dancing on Friday night was really fun. Drinks are all 500yen, so super convenient. My group was about to go home and the owner personally gave us each an umbrella because it was raining. Would recommend to anyone.

This bar is amazing and really the most underground bar in Hiroshima, but it’s hard to find. It’s located in an apartment building. To get there, find the surfboard on the street. Then go up the stairs located behind the surfboard. There is a small sign that says Ken’s bar next to an apartment door, open the door and you are in the bar! If you can’t find it, just ask a local and they will all know where it is. Ken is super chill and speaks Japanese, English, and Spanish. The salsa and bachata music that Ken plays is music you will actually hear in Colombia. Romeo Santos, Oscar de Leon, Hector Lavoe, etc. The people in the bar are really friendly. They have a nice big dance floor with a mirror. Just know that people do smoke inside this bar. So if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, this place may not be for you. I had so much fun here and met so many cool people!

Went here because we saw “Latin club” and were sold. It was a little hard to find the first time but once we were in they were playing great Spanish music! The owner Ken is awesome! He speaks perfect Spanish! Also, Yuko and Tee bo were awesome! We went more than once and if we ever visit Hiroshima again we will stop by again!

Extremely friendly staff that talked to us the whole time there, this is like a good chill out bar.
