Was sitting at the bar. Food was great, but simply couldn’t stand the smell of the smoke from my both sides such that I needed to cut short. Anyway, it was an Izakaya where smoke was a signature and probably an incentive to attract the customers who paid for such ambience.

We were so happy we came here. We were English-speaking tourists and it is a Japanese gastropub. It was great to stop for a meal and some beer the food was delicious.

HOPS has an ambience found only in Japan and invites you with a wide range of world-class beers. have you not returned?

Pretty good izakaya staff was friendly and the food is varied. Only complaint was the Yakitori wasn’t all that great, we got the six pieces with liver, gizzards, bara, kawa, and chicken with leeks. The karage was oishii and the lemon sours were pretty tasty with fresh Hiroshima lemon!
