Nona's Homemade Ice Cream - HINGHAM

Our favorite ice cream spot all year long! They serve delicious, homemade ice cream and more! It's the only place we go for our cakes.

Our summer trips to Scituate would not be the same without visiting Nona. And thanks to all the girls who work there who go out their way to bring our daughters my allergy. Can't you say how much we appreciate it!!

This could very well be the best ice cream I've ever tasted. It definitely ranks in my top three, alongside a homemade ice cream place in California and another in New Hampshire, though I can't recall their names. This place is certainly on par with those two. Although the indoor dining area was closed due to the pandemic, we were able to order through a converted ice cream window. The staff member serving us was friendly and efficient. Ultimately, though, the star of the show was the ice cream, which was absolutely amazing. I visited with my family of five, and we all unanimously agreed it was spectacular. I tried the banana ice cream, and it was fantastic. It may sound unusual, but banana ice cream is actually really delicious; you won't know until you try it!

What a wonderful experience! We always make a point to visit Nona's when we're in the area, and their ice cream is absolutely delightful! The classic cookie dough and rich chocolate Oreo flavors were excellent choices—perfect for cooling off from the summer heat.

The ice cream was excellent, but there were a lot of screaming toddlers inside. Outdoor seating is limited, so I recommend ordering takeout!
