The Lebanese cuisine at this restaurant is truly authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant itself is very pleasant.
The grilled meats at this restaurant are absolutely delicious. The Kafta was moist and flavorful, while the charcoal chicken had a nice smoky flavor without being dry. The Toum sauce was perfect as well.
This place had been highly recommended by a coupe of friends on seperate occasions. So we went in with very high expectations, and somehow felt rather let down. Nothing wrong - the food was good and in big serves, staff friendly and obliging, service was adequate. Bit noisy with a couple of groups and one birthday party. Seating was sufficient. Fair choice on the menu with a variety of price points and choices on offer. They had run out of one of our choices, but there was an acceptable alternative. Open cooking area, so a sense of involvement. Warm enough. So I can't say whey I was underwhelmed - maybe it was my pumped up expectations. None of this is to say don't go - it was a good feed.
We ordered using Menulog. We live about ten minutes from the store and assumed our food would still be reasonably hot. We opened the pizza and lamb with pitas to find everything luke warm or cold. The lamb had a strange smell, so we threw it in the bin. The pizza was very mediocre and there are much better options available in and around the city. We really were hoping for something much better, particularly given the pictures on here, which present something much nicer than what we had for dinner.
