He sipped on a flat white as he waited for the steam train to arrive. The view through the window revealed very friendly staff, and the smell of sizzling speck filled the morning air. Overall, it was a beautiful experience.

Great place to eat or drink for a bite during a walk / cycle. the station is wonderfully preserved and very atmospheric. eating is a bargain at just £2 for a very tasty speckrolle!

This is a sweet little steam railway. The main station cafe was welcoming had lovely homemade pasties. This line needs much support to get a well needed spruce up.
