Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Hinckley

During our road trip, my family stopped at this restaurant and unfortunately encountered a rude order taker who appeared to be impatient while we were placing our order. She overlooked providing us with sauce and a couple of other items, which was concerning as my brother is a type 1 diabetic. The food we did receive was decent, but the overall service was quite disappointing. My sister noticed customer satisfaction surveys displayed on the wall and remarked that it was sad based on how busy the restaurant appeared to be. Despite the restaurant attracting many customers due to its location in Northern Minnesota, the lack of quality service was evident. With only a few positive reviews on display, it's not surprising to have a negative experience with an unprofessional order taker. I would recommend visiting Tobies for desserts and McDonald's for a more reliable meal instead.

I love stopping here to get a Blizzard on hot days. There are so many options to choose from and something for everyone. I recently tried the new double Flamethrower burger and a single cheeseburger and both were made exactly as ordered with no mistakes. The server was fantastic and very friendly, with a great knowledge of the different options and combinations available.

The food at this restaurant was okay, but the fries were served at room temperature. The restaurant itself was not very clean, including the bathrooms. The staff was friendly, but not very attentive. The Coke tasted like carbonated water, and the lids were empty at the drink machine, so we had to ask for more. There was no ketchup in the to-go bag, and we had to ask for more as well because they were also empty at the drink machine.

Was very disappointed in this Dairy Queen. Every table was dirty in the dining room to sit at and even booths, chairs, floors and windows were filthy. I even noticed the outdoor tables were not wiped. Nothing was stocked and the manager even walkedthrough the dining room and looked around and only pushed a couple chairs in. The restaurant was empty and drive through notbusy. There is no excuse for this!

Might of been the longest fast food experience of my life waiting in the drive thru. I goto other DQs and this one was by far the worst I've ever been to. If I would have order any ice cream product they would have probably messed that up as well. Coldburgers and fries. I will not be going back.
