Tapas - Hilton Head Island

That was likely the best meal I've ever had. My whole family agreed that every dish was extraordinary. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and each plate presented was a masterpiece. I enjoyed a seafood dish with a rich lobster sauce, while my husband had venison that was simply indescribably delicious. I'm truly grateful to the talented chef, and we will definitely be returning as often as possible.

We had a fantastic dinner at the Tapas restaurant, conveniently located in the same mall as Cinema 10, before heading to the movies. My wife absolutely adored the lobster thermidor along with a raspberry salad. I decided to try the alligator, which came with a delicious Cajun dipping sauce, and it was outstanding. For my main course, I had short ribs accompanied by mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy – it was excellent. We capped off the meal with deep-fried chocolate wontons for dessert. This was by far the best dinner we had during our entire week on the island. Plus, they have a full bar!

The highlight of our dining experience on Hilton Head Island was definitely the Tapas Restaurant. Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The She-Crab soup was outstanding, and the Greek Shrimp quickly became a favorite. We also loved the Lobster Thermidor and Shrimp Parthanon. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and we were lucky enough to meet the chef and owner, who graciously shared some of her techniques for the incredible sauces. My husband especially savored his Veal Antonio. This place feels different from the usual tourist spots. For dessert, the Crème Brûlée and chocolate pecan spring rolls were absolutely delightful.

The cuisine is fantastic and reasonably priced. Chef Ardis Matthew has been featured in Bon Appétit magazine. This place is definitely a favorite among locals. Be sure to try the wild mushroom ravioli, shrimp and scallops analisa, pear pecan salad, and the lobster cake with sweet potato fries. The sauces are incredible. After sampling a lot of touristy food, we ended up returning three times. It's the best!
