We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for many years, but we have decided not to return. In the past, the main draw of this place was its slightly above average food quality and reasonable prices, despite the run-down building and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the atmosphere has only worsened as they have not invested any money into the place, and they have significantly increased their prices. For example, a side of Mac and Cheese now costs $14, Pimento Cheese Dip is $14, Wedge Salad is $14, Shrimp n Grits are $34, a 3oz portion of Wreck Fish Special is $42, and a slice of Pecan Pie is $14. These exorbitant prices are paired with a low-quality ambiance, making it difficult to justify returning to a place that once offered slightly above average food at reasonable prices.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. The waitress forgot to take our order until we had been sitting for 30 minutes. When she finally brought out our appetizer, she seemed confused and brought us the wrong dish. The lack of air conditioning made the whole party uncomfortable and sweaty. Overall, while the food was good, the other issues may prevent us from returning in the future.
