Kanpai - Hilo

Good mistsuppe. had Kanpai roll that had a bit too much speck for me and also quite salty. also had Honolii role that was good. I tried her margarita I enjoyed. service was great, staff very friendly.

The temaki with salmon and cream cheese is delicious. I had two of them with a big bowl of mistsuppe. the server are very friendly and helpful. it's a busy place, so make sure they get there early if they want to find a place!

Open personal. they offered us recommendations from the menu without being overlaid. it was not the best Japanese food I ever tasted, but certainly worthy of 4 stars, with a well rounded selection and some unique taste. we ordered 2 types of rams and a mermaid roll.

We went to this restaurant as part of our slumber weeks. both my man and I love sushi and fresh fish, but I can live it where we live. I really enjoyed our dinner here. I have a tempoura garnel roll, sharp ahi poke bowl and my man has two other rolls. everything was very tasty, my only complicity was that half of my roll, which I had saved for lunch the next day, had become unusable overnight. I kept it in a closed container in a refrigerator, but the next morning the rice had become hard and dried and the fish smells something. So if they decide to eat here, they make sure they eat everything they order in this night.

Love this place !! I?ve gone a couple of times and it?s super delicious! It?s a very modern style sushi bar with some nice sushi roll ideas and other yummy ramen things. BLT ROLL, IS LIFE ! Plus it stays open late ! Definitively recommend eating and/or having drinks here.
