You have a beautiful four folded menu that highlights two styles of cooking. Casual Vietnamese and family style Chinese. Both very tasty and we are executed. There are also for those of you who visit. So call before time and place your order and sit happy in your hotel room or take it to the summit for a sunset dinner. If you are a food and on a budget, this is only the place where I go when every penny counts. Try everything! It's all right down here to the sweet dimmies that tease you on your way out. Finally, have some noodles while you are there.
From the Kohala Coast we came to authentic viet life. We were turned around and came pretty close to her closing time. They sat us happy. Our food comes super fast and was hot. We ordered the Chicken Pho #17, BBQ Pork and Rice #42 and the Mongolian Chicken Rice Plate. (Yes, this is a mountain of food for 2 people. The food was delicious with the right spices and accompaniments. Both young men waiting for us were so friendly and sweet. Although we ate it in a hurry, they didn't rush us in any way. They have a wide selection of viet and Chinese dishes on their menu and it will definitely take some time to decide what to eat. Prices are very reasonable. Dinner was under $35, our most expensive meal on the island. We will definitely come back!!
#28! Salad, cucumbers, noodles, wonderful spring rolls and fish sauce!! When my office is ordered from here for lunch, Hilo Rice Noodle gets an order for 11 #28's! Your bubble tea is also really good. I tried other places around Hilo, but so far HRN has the best honeymoon and Thai iced tea bubble tea! I love this place! Also you should try their black bean squid! Sooo good!
I cannot shake the addiction!!! Minced chicken w salad cups, salted fish fried rice, beef wrapped onion-oh my! I wish they were open at the weekend. Love the house sauce, they should sell it from the bottle to take home.
I checked Urbanspoon to see what was a good place for Vietnamese and this was one of the choices that came up.
