Cascada Restaurant & Cafe - HILLVUE

What a disappointing evening. Took well over an hour to get kids food which was all deep fried, and a bit longer to get an entree, they hadn’t even tried to take our main orders until after the entree’s arrived. A red wine was served which had been opened for quite some time, which was terrible they did offer a new one on the house, but didn’t make up for the lack of the service and then also having to find another place to dine..

The lobster mornay was nice. But the accompanying vegetables were inedible. They looked tasted as though they'd been cooked days before. We chose this restaurant because it had a 4 star rating. It was definitely not 4 star. We had a much nicer meal at the leagues club the following night for half the price.

We recently met with friends in Tamworth and had no idea of where we should dine. We googled a number of venues and chose Cascada and we were very happy with our decision. We were greeted at the door by a happy and smiling face and ushered to our table. The interior was modern and very stylish and we immediately felt very comfortable. The restaurant is licenced and has an extensive menu including a number of fish dishes which certainly pleased me. We all selected something different and we all enjoyed our meal including a bottle of West Cape Howe 2015 Chardonnay. The desserts were mouth watering! A great night out and when next in Tamworth we will revisit this restaurant.

Catered for more than 40 people for dinner. The food was well-prepared and promptly served. The servers were friendly and the whole night was well orgqanised.

Have had several excellent meals and have been well served by the staff. A very pleasant environment.
