The Alley Neighborhood Grille

Picked this place for my birthday dinner. It was so good.We were seated immediately. The food did take a while and the fries were a bit cold but the Hawaiian Burger with the Hawaiian mayo is the BOMB!!!!

This is a local neighborhood bar and grill hot spot and gathering place for people for all over the Hillsboro area. It seems that everyone knows everyone. There is a main dining room and bar and a patio bar with seating and garage doors that open up the outdoors. There is a upscale bowling alley with games attached to the restaurant. The menu has everything great appetizers, burgers and sandwiches and excellent pizza. The double decker burger seems like it took a first-class flight from Frisch's down the pike. It's is one of the best burgers I have had, any where. The ground beef is high quality and it was perfectly prepared. The loaded cheese fries portion is enormous and tasted great almost a meal in itself. Best if shared. The supreme pizzas was loaded with sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon, green peppers, mushrooms, and red onion. Great crust, sauce and cheese. The restaurant was packed and our server was really hustling, but she managed to keep up with her tables. The food was delivered host and fresh. Highly recommended.

I have been consistently impressed with the food and service at the Alley for the past decade. My family and I dine there at least 10 times a year and have never been disappointed. However, I have noticed that some customers do not leave a decent tip for the excellent service they receive. It is important to remember that servers rely on tips as a significant part of their income, as they are often only paid a low hourly wage by the establishment. I love the friendly staff at the Alley, but I do wish they had more healthy food options on their menu.

This place is HUGE! They have indoor and outdoor seating, a restaurant and a fun bar area where there is trivia on Mondays and it sounded like other games on other days.The food was EXCELLENT! Our friend let me try her mushroom appetizer and it was perfect. Everything the folks at our table had looked good.We asked the server about steaks because they serve Filet Mignon, TBone and several other cuts. She said she won't go anywhere else. We gave it a try and were not disappointed. I had the filet and my husband the TBone. They were great quality, cooked perfectly and the sides (fries, green beans, baked potato and salad) were also great.We will definitely return, and when we have visitors from out of town we will take them for a visit.

This lively neighborhood bar is attached to a bowling alley. They offer tasty appetizers and snacks, such as spinach artichoke dip and spicy chicken bites. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
