Takumi Sushi And - Hillsboro

In Portland/Hillsboro for one night and found Takumi Sushi absolutely fantastic. Whether you are a local or stay in a nearby hotel, if you are in the mood for sushi, give Takumi an attempt.

Very nice dining room, service was amazing!!! We ordered a pot with hot tea, seaweed salad and Ginger Tofu, which was served on a spicy hot plate and came with rice and salad. The salad and the salad were great. The ginger tofu was sooo delicious. It was tasteful and the tofu was perfect and fresh. FYI, ramen and **** aren't vegetarian about the broth. I recommend this restaurant!

Lunch, lots of space in the indoor or outdoor area on the terrace. The food and service were impeccable and happy to come back with friends. Many possibilities for hiking shopping here Macys REI etc.

Ordnete Tempura dish for 19.95. What I got was a large bowl of dried rice with a few pieces of hard, fried vegetables and a small shrimp that obviously sat under a heat lamp. I couldn't finish it because it was just inconspicuous and chew. I politely asked the server who I could say was a young person, maybe a high student when that was normal. I saw how the server went to manager/owner/pick and asked them. The manager/owner/images, who sorted silverware, did not even look at the server and without a word the index finger, indicating that only 1 piece of shrimp were normal. It was quite unprofessional and even I felt bad for our server. Apart from the poor quality of food, high prices, this simple and short interaction I experienced, talked a lot about this place. You lost a customer in me.

Delicious food. The baked Philly sushi roll, aloha sushi roll and chicken stir fry were all amazing. The chicken stir fry came with miso soup, salad and rice and had plenty of chicken. Tried the sake flight too, and it was absolutely delicious- must try! We ended up buying a bottle for home too. The mochi was surprisingly my least fav. Not the best I have had. Staff was friendly and service is fast. I do recommend going there by 7:30 at the latest though. We entered at 8:15 and felt quite rushed since they shut sharp at 9.
