Salam - Hillsboro

This restaurant should be called Khodafez. Regardless of the service being slow, ambiance poor, and the food mediocre, the real problem was the owner. He was rude and short to our table repeatedly. The very nice waitress got our dessert order wrong and he said he would charge her for the wrong item. We refused and paid for the wrong item as we felt bad for the waitress. Would never go back..

I had visited with family last spring and was looking forward to another meal. I had the chicken kebabs with tabouleh. Wonderful tabouleh…mostly vegetable, less bulgar than I've had previously. A pita large pita was served with oil and herbs upon seating. Warm and very good. Kebabs were very good. Server was pleasant, it was early evening so few people and my meal arrived in good time. I would recommend this restaurant.

Owner friendly, but this is nothing close to Lebanese food. Shawarma is not even close to anything like shawarma. Mix BBQ, beef is very low quality and dry/stiff. Pricy for no reason. Please stay away from calling your restaurant Lebanese food, Either you don’t know what is Lebanese food taste like, or you just not sure what you try to do. work on your service and quality more and we will come back to give you one more chance.

Dry, bland, small portions. They definitely give lots of pita bread tho so

We arrived in town late and the only restaurant open was Salam. Very refreshing Persian and Mediterranean food.
