El Conquistador - Hillsboro

This is a fantastic restaurant! The house margaritas are definitely a must-try. The fajitas are delicious and come out sizzling hot (see picture). There is plenty of parking in the back, although I wouldn't recommend it for semi trucks. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area! I usually order the sour cream on the side, but it came with the fajitas this time. The chicken and beef had a nice paprika flavor, but could use a bit more salt. I will definitely be returning! The total for one order of fajitas, two margaritas, and a fresh jalapeno came out to $34. Most of the seating consists of wooden chairs and they have a few high-top tables as well. There was a sign on the door saying they were short-staffed, but the place was very clean. The restrooms were spotless. Two busboys were eagerly waiting to clean up tables as soon as customers left. I visited on a Monday at 6pm and the parking lot was only a quarter full.

The restaurant was fantastic all around. Everything was amazing, from the spectacular service that went above and beyond to the delicious chips and salsa. The prices were good and the margaritas were great. I can't say enough good things. I even want the salsa recipe!

The total cost was $34 for Fajitas for one, 2 Margaritas, and a fresh uncut jalapeno pepper. The majority of the seating consists of wooden chairs, but they also have a couple of booths. There was a sign on the door stating that they were short-staffed that day, but the restaurant was still very clean. The restrooms were also very clean. The staff even had two bus boys waiting to clear tables and clean them promptly. I arrived on a Monday at 6pm and the parking lot was only a quarter full. Overall, I will definitely be back to this restaurant.

This restaurant was fantastic in every way. Everything was amazing, especially the spectacular service that went above and beyond by doing extra things we didn't even ask for. The chips and salsa were excellent. The prices were fair and the margaritas were great. I can't say enough good things about this place. It totally hit the spot. I need to get my hands on that salsa recipe!
