Del Taco - Hillsboro

Definitely not 'fast food ' at lunch time. Be prepared to spend practically half of your lunch waiting to get your food on some days. And don 't think that going inside would be any faster because it won 't be. Actually it 'll probably take you longer. It did with me. However, the food is worth the wait! Everything that I 've tried there exceeds Taco Bell by miles.

If you are looking for a quick fix for Mexican fast food, go here! This place is way better than Taco Bell, has better prices, and better-tasting food. I wish I had photos to post...I had their tacos and burritos and they both tasted quite legit.

Del Taco is great. The quesadillas are made with real cheese and the chicken is really good. You can also get French fries and cheeseburgers, etc. Which are decent, as well. Always nice to have more options! The Hillsboro location was a go-to lunch spot for years with my 'old crew ', back in the 'before times '. Tried the drive through the other day for the first time and it was good. The quality slip here seems less noticeable than at other establishments (based on my most recent experience . Enjoy! :

Still my favorite fast food taco place. They have real refried beans and better ingredients generally that Taco Bell including their beef and chicken.

This place was fast. I ordered, I paid, got my food and jumped back in the car even before my husband could make it through the nearby drive through. My food was better than his too. Lucky me.
