We stopped here for an ice cream while mid-trip and driving 2 lane country roads. Excellent ice cream, Huge portions, great prices. My wifes medium twist cone was enormous ! Very friendly service. Nice small little mom n pop ice cream shop. Prices about same. Portions small compared to the price you pay for the ice cream. Example 12 oz cup for their flurries but 5.00 for it. Ordered corn nuggets, got broccoli bites : couple stood at the widow for 3 or 4 minutes while a guy was doing something at the register and he never even acknowledged them before he walked away and left them continuing to wait for the only other person in the place to wait on them. Slammed for a .75 tip to a 5.00 item at a carry out window. Tip for what? No posted sign about it. And slammed again 3% for credit card use, again no sign or warning on either or I would have walked. Would rather have paid 6.00 for the cup of lukewarm chicken and noodle’s with runny broth and a few actual chicken shreds. A package of crackers would have helped. Good thing I had gone straight home to the microwave. They won’t miss me until they’ve gone out of business, and they’ll never know I didn’t come back. I may give them one more try and if I do I’ll complain about the extra charges. I’m very pro small local business that is worth it. And I generally tip big but not when there’s no option.
