Working Dog Winery - Hightstown

Beautiful winery with an awesome staff!!!!! The wines go from semi dry to semi sweet. There's definitely something here for everyone. We went on Mother's Day and sat on the porch. Most people chose to bring their own chairs and sit on the lawn. There was plenty of room and did not feel crowded. They also had 2 great food trucks, Beach Shack Lexylicious Ice Cream. We loved the live music by Jersey Surecats. We will absolutely be back!

Cute location! Lots of space to spread out in the grass- and tables available on the patio (covered or in the sun with umbrellas). Live music added a nice ambiance. Food truck on site. Katie and team were so knowledgeable and personable in the tasting room!

Some of the negative reviews are absolutely comical. If you are looking for high maintenance clientele, I suppose you need to look no further than many giving negative reviews for this winery. My Lord....This place is a gem in Mercer County. While I typically take wine to-go, once in a while my wife and I will sit out back for the wine tasting. It's never been anything less than an A+ experience. The owners are genuine and accommodating. The people giving negative reviews need to get a life.

Great winery for hangout with friends, family or casual date. Love the vibes and view. Outdoor tables are limited for 4 people only. You can bring your food or buy their with their wine is great combination. We also took a wine tour but disappointed with it. It is not like usual wine tasting and chaotic selection and they give you and sometimes they forget as well but instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable. Only thing was they had live bands and whatever they were saying, wasn’t clearly audible. It is good to visit and experience what they have to offer. I found their few wines not good but some wines are good and i am sure you will enjoy them.
