Hudson Ale Works - Highland

I love this hidden gem in the highlands. They serve the best appetizers and fantastic beer. I highly recommend trying the hops for facial and century plants. The staff is very friendly.

After a day of rock climbing in the Catskills, we decided to have dinner on a quiet Saturday evening. Despite our initial concerns, the food was actually delicious. We tried a few different beers on tap and enjoyed them all, especially the mango IPA. The portions on the starter menu were generous enough to fill us up for the meal. We were surprised that the restaurant wasn't more crowded, as the food was top-notch and deserves more business. We plan on returning to try more of their drinks and delicious dishes soon.

We have been frequenting HAW since its beginning and have always enjoyed the food, but the introduction of Chef Greg Demichiel has taken things to a whole new level. Here are some photos of the mouthwatering dishes that were almost too beautiful to eat. Chef Greg has truly created a dining destination for our small village that we can be proud of. I visited hudson ale works on Saturday afternoon when they opened. I visited the Poughkeepsie area for the day so I could cycle the rail trail. I thought it would be fun to stop and visit some of the crooks on my return trip. first stop of the day: hudson ale works. I ordered a taste flight of the four different ipas that they had on the hook. my favorite was her hazy boi mango', a new england ipa with mango added. I heard they had excellent brunch food, but I was informed that the hired, who was normally preparing brunch, had gone for the weekend. Instead, I had some delicious porcelain bites with beer cheese. they have paired well with the beers. I bought hazy boi mango to pack it in my saddle bag, and I was on the way. beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. I would visit again if I were back in the opposite.

This was a great place to stop after walking the Hudson bridge. The drinks were good and the appetizers were delicious. Everything was fresh. Plenty of space for social distancing!
