Bistecca - Highland Village

We visited last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had heard wonderful things about the small Italian steak house, and it was not disappointed. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy. We had a reservation and sat right away. Our waiter (Bo) was fantastic: attentive, but not intrusive. I just mentioned it was our anniversary when he brought out our wine, but he added a message to our dessert! The best parts hand was our meal. My husband had Scallops/Pasta and I had Tylloin with home potatoes. We also ordered the Jumbo Shrimp appetizer. Oh, my taste buds. Everything was perfectly cooked. I noticed many reviews mention price. It was a 'sweet' meal, but we're expecting cheap food or cheap service. We both feel that prices are on point and reflect the height of meal and service we receive. We had a nice evening. We're coming back! Thank you.

I bought my husband (and myself entered the January cooking class as a Christmas gift. We have never been in one of these classes.... but many of the people who were there are apparently regular. The class was just as I hoped!! (I wish it had been in the afternoon! We were offered a drink as we arrived and found places at the table. Then we all went to the kitchen with Chef Salerno and saw him prepare a dish ... that we then returned to the table and enjoyed with white wine .... followed by another trip to the kitchen, wine in the hand to watch him, prepare another course .... and so on! Lach's Lobster and Steak were included in our menu.... everything wonderful! Punch, White Wine, Red Wine and a dessert drink were also wonderful. A great time was from all!!

Seriously, amazing!!! We came to my birthday, and I had the shrimp appetizers and scallops for my entree. Both were absolutely divine! Hubby had the special black ribeye. Just the best steak from us has in JAHRE! Our server also brought a sample of the Steak Salerno appetizer. Delicious! If we go back, we will definitely order this! Although we were too full, we got the Pecan-Twill for Dessert. All right! Every penny worth, and the service and atmosphere were absolutely perfect!

Great service...food was wonderful...wine was perfect....dessert was the exclamation point. Will be my go-to place moving forward.

This place is a must try for all in the area. We enjoy going for any type of celebration, most recently for Mother's Day dinner. Even on a busy night, Chef Morris made his rounds to each table after entrees were delivered to ensure each guest was pleased with their meal.
