The Harbour Fish - Highland

We took a Sunday drive to Plockton and decided to try the fish and chips at a local restaurant. We were extremely satisfied with our meal. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly in a light and tasty batter. The chips were also fresh and cooked in clean oil. I was lucky to be the first customer at 1pm, which allowed for some pleasant conversation with the owner who runs this charming establishment. The prices were reasonable, which is appreciated during these difficult times. I highly recommend stopping by this place if you happen to be passing through Plockton.

We got here right before closing time and had a great dinner of fish and chips and some pizzas (including a gluten-free pizza . The owner was friendly and welcoming. The fish and chips were hand-breaded and fried right in front of us, so definitely fresh-tasting. We sat at the picnic table right outside the shack, it was a nice authentic setting. He did say that he sometimes runs out of items due to supply issues (thanks Brexit! , but he had everything we wanted that night. We even finished our meal with some soft-serve ice cream cones with a Flake bar (the 99 . There aren 't many food options in Plockton, but this was a good quick place to get a meal.

We were up here on holiday, both had haddock and chips which were delicious. Price was reasonable and staff friendly.

Visited for lunch, cod fish and chip suppers were delicious. Fish was fresh and the batter tasted delicious. Mushy peas were also very good. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
