I ordered two servings of fish and chips, as well as a portion of cheesy chips. The fish was very tasty and the chips were good, although the portion size was a bit lacking. Unfortunately, the woman who served us was rather sharp with her words. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but a smile goes a long way with me.

What a terrible way to communicate with customers. There was no customer greeting or hello when calling Reid's Fish Bar XYZ. The male employee had a snappy attitude and told me to call back later because they were extremely busy and couldn't take my order. When I mentioned that I would have placed my order in person, he dismissed me by saying he had 20 orders to do and to call back later. It seems like there is no time for customers or that the staff member is unable to handle a busy workload. The staff's attitude was absolutely appalling. I wonder if he speaks to his mother in the same disrespectful manner.

The fish and chips were fantastic. The portions were generous and the value was excellent. We ordered a takeaway meal for four and drove 14 miles back to our Airbnb. Surprisingly, the food was still hot, the chips and batter were crispy, and the portions were large.

It 's a fish and chop shop. The service was good, professional and friendly. If you were looking for a fish and chip takeaway to sit in the car by the beach and enjoy, you couldn 't do much better. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked and the chips were on a par.

Excellent fish and chips, meat and tatties and everything else I tried. Good price good staff and a good social distancing policy in place. Please try if you are in the area it’s well worth it.
