Kingsmills - Highland

We enjoy an afternoon tea and friends had gifted me a voucher for one at the Kingsmills Hotel. The sandwiches and scones were delicious and tea plentiful, although we weren’t offered a choice of any other kind of tea. The sweet elements of the afternoon tea were very nice, however my only criticism would be that there were far too many sweet treats. I would have preferred to have more savoury items such as a little pie, or quiche or something similar. My friend and I of course managed to eat almost everything, but she agreed that we felt a bit sick afterwards, should have thrown in the towel before the last two cakes!

Again a joy to eat here. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Steaks done to perfection. Always have a wee giggle with the staff, professionally friendly. Recommend to friends; also afternoon teas delicious.

We ate here as were staying at the hotel. The restaurant is very big and it was very busy which resulted in it being very noisy. The menu has lots of choice and the food is good. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The hotel is lovely room excellent but food cold service terrible it made me think of Oliver in saying please sir can I have some more then charge a fortune.

The food was exceptional and the service is fantastic. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a elegant, 5 star evening!
