Queens Tavern - Highgate

I had a beetroot salad that was nice, but not many (if any) other vegan elements on the menu

The restaurant encourages the use of QR code based ordering from your table. They advocated this as a way to easily split the bill. Three of us did this. We all ordered meals at the same time. Our meals did not come at the same time. One of us received their meal almost 15 minutes before others arrived. When we expressed concern about this we were told it was because we ordered separately. It's not good enough when you're encouraged to do something which is later used as an excuse for poor service.

After a beautiful emotional day, a beautiful way to relax and spend time with beautiful people, service was beautiful and beautiful to try a new place! Love that there is still a real fireplace in use!

Having come here for over 20 years and was sad when the retreat was taken by the taps, but so pleasantly surprised when I saw that it was again on tap loving the new menu and all vegan options. The pizza is ridiculously delicious and cannot wait to taste the burger and other items

My friend and I organized and enjoyed his birthday party there recently. From the first booking, Barbara was extremely helpful and accommodating. On the day, not only the employees were the same, but went beyond the duty call, which dealt with an increasing number of sisters. Food, service and drinks were fantastic. EVERYONE at the party has since commented on how much they enjoyed the venue and the atmosphere, including free music. Combine this with the relatively low total costs, I cannot recommend The Queens enough. I can't wait to get back there, next time I'm in Perth.
