Ischia Ristorante - Highgate

Had reviewed this under Sienna Sisters but now Ischia. Had a ball doing a backward dinner - start with coffee and then sweets and then mains you get the idea and supposed to go to different places. Arrived here for mains and just loved the atmosphere, the food was great and the wine fair priced and service fast and friendly. braised beef ragu was special and loved it on its own and as the topping on Lasagna. We shared mouthfuls and the food was just melt in the mouth, hot tasty food. Bread soft in middle crusty out. Staff so helpful and friendly on a packed wet Saturday night. Wine was reasonably priced as well

Went here since daughter lives close. Opted for a 6 pm meal mid week and the place was busy. It is very casual but the food was pretty good mushroom risotto was probably the best of the dishes but ravioli and pizza good too. My fish of the day was fresh but had the texture of rubber.Desserts disappointed Would come back if felt like a casual Italian meal.Service good.

Ischia is a wonderful Italian restaurant named after an island off Sorrento Italy.Momma is there at the door welcoming you, as you venture into the modern interior to your seat. Lot of atmosphere, space and passing parade of people. Food is classic Italian with a modern twist. Pizza is to die for, from the oven and wine list if extensive and well priced. Had a wonderful night with lots of atmosphere, great service and really nice fresh well prepared food.A welcome addition to the local dining scene in Mt Lawley. We have found a new restaurant to frequent, rather than some of the random stuff in Beaufort Street.

Our friend booked Ischia as she use to dine there when it was Sienna Sisters.We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, our friend was the only one who wasn't happy with her meal (Baby Goat).Our servings were decent sizes and very tasty.The Atmosphere was a little noisy and quite cramped as people pushed past and I felt more like I was in Northbridge rather tham Mount Lawley.But all up we will go back as we had an enjoyable night with great food and service.

Last night we celebrated my Dad's birthday at Ischia and it was brilliant.The food and service was faultless, we shared mussels in white wine sauce for entrée and everyone agreed it was the best mussel dish we have had in years. For main we shared two pizzas and a pasta between the 4 of us. The pizza was cooked beautifully in the wood fired oven and the pasta was delicious.I can't wait to come back!I tried to rade the food and value as very good but for some reason the app is not working!
