I feel a bit disappointed that there weren't many vegetarian options for me personally, but I still quite enjoyed it. I recommend it if you're a meat eater, but if you're vegetarian, be aware that there aren't as many options available.
I visited the High Wycombe branch on a Thursday evening. I did not have high hopes given that the other chinese cuisine eateries in High Wycombe are dire. I liked the somewhat casual decor but yet it maintained a nice and clean feel, with good attentive staff. I ordered some Chinese Restaurant classics of Ho Fun Char Sui and Singapore Spicy Noodles, with a side of spicy squid. I must admit I was very surprised at the quality of the Singapore Spicy Noodles and although it wasn't quite as authentic as from a top end Chinese Restaurant or of that in Hong Kong, it was very good. I'm also not sure on whether this was intentional but the dish did not contain any eggs mixed into it, which is present in an authentic Singapore Spicy Noodle dish, so this was a bit of a low point (although splitting hairs. So i gave the dish 8/10 My girlfriends order of Ho Fun Char Sui was quite good too, but it lacked the fried taste which can only be achieved through a strong wok heat. It was very tasty, but was abit pale and moist for such a dish. So I gave the dish 7/10 The side of spicy squid was quite tasty, although not quite as crisp as expected. So I gave the dish 7/10 Overall, I was very impressed with Noodle Nation. The food, albeit not 100% authentic, was still extremely tasty and by far the best oriental cuisine I have had in High Wycombe. The food came very quickly and the portions were very big and fantastic value for money. I haven't really tried the other dishes yet, but so far, I would definitely recommend Noodle Nation. Based on my first experience, I would rate it 8/10
Wow pretty bad food. I was in Oxford for a conference last week, and was excited to see a place that served Asian food. Boy, was I in for disappointment. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, yet it was definitely *not* Kung Pao Chicken. The sauce was a bright red sauce ick. More like a bad westernized version of sweet sour chicken. The chicken and white rice that accompanied were both lukewarm upon arriving at our table. If you're ever in Oxford (city centre) and you're searching for food options, skip past this place.
Great service and quiet inside The noodles are great but carrots taste very crunchy If you like thick noodles I would not recommend but if you like thin noodles I would recommend
Cheap, but very edible food in a bowl. And fast! The food arrives very soon after you order even when place is busy. Usually a good atmosphere. Downsides. If you don't want food in a bowl... Also, sometimes there are delays getting a table (well, bench usually), and sometimes getting your order taken. This branch does not serve coffee! Other reviews showing appear to be for different restaurant (in Oxford).
