Rock-A-Doodles Chicken - High River

Food very good- hot well presented, unique homey decore records) friendly service.. good quantity/ portions. a family run place.

The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but I was not a fan of the curry seasoning. When I asked the owner about the unique flavor, he mentioned that it was probably due to the curry. Unfortunately, as I am not a fan of curry, I was disappointed in that aspect.

I have eaten in, and taken out and loved the chicken both times. The pieces seemed larger than most chicken restaurants and the fries are great (home made). I heard that the source all of their chicken locally and if that is so I truly appreciate it!

Rock-a-Doodles is a good and convenient place for good fried chicken. Initially it might resemble KFC, but the chicken is better and spicier. Highly recommended when looking for something quick yet different.

This restaurant used to be known for their locally sourced chicken in High River, but I've heard that it has changed management recently, so I'm not sure if that's still the case. The chicken I tried was just okay. The crispy batter was decent, but it might be an acquired taste. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I probably won't be returning regularly because there aren't many healthy options on the menu.
