New Golden National Family Restaurant

I went here for the first time last night because I live nearby and we got a coupon in the mail so we decided to use it.

If you like deep fried blobs of batter in sugary sauce, you will like it Mall Chinese food is comparable, if not better.

DisappointingLooks like fast food, everything oily, greasyDumplings very doughy with the meat inside gray color and no taste.

We went on a Friday night for an early meal..just the two of us. We shared the pan fried dumplings with Vinegar Sauce. 10 dumplings for $9.95. They were probably the best dumplings that i have had in my lifetime of Chinese food.Then we shared the veggie Shanghai Noodle plate. Lots of colourful veggies, big fat Shanghai noodles with a great sauce. Plenty of food for us 2 Seniors. The take out business is very brisk here on a Friday night..a testament to the quality of the food. The next time that we visit, we will each order something from the Senior's Section. Soup, Chinese dish and a dessert for under $10

Our first visit to this restaurant and the food was fast, fresh and taste delicious! We will be back again! It may not look fancy on the outside but is much nicer inside.
